SAS Engineer – Substation Automation Expert

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Substation Automation Systems (ABB, SIEMENS, GE, SCHNEIDER, SEL, ZENON)
• Expertise in testing, commissioning, and integration of IEDs, HMI/SCADA systems using IEC 61850 standards
• Knowledge of communication protocols: MODBUS, IEC 60870-5-104, SNMP, PRP, GOOSE, VLAN, RSTP, HSR
• Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and implement SAS systems
– Create SAS architecture, BOMs, and documentation
– Conduct FAT & SAT
– Perform scheme checking and coordinate across departments
• Strong background in electric power transmission/distribution/generation
• In-depth knowledge of protection, automation, integration
• Ability to lead and think critically
• Willingness to travel, understanding of Cyber Security principles
